The Rulebook

THE RULEBOOK
. . . guidelines to live by

1. MATURITY CONTENT this site is rated m for mature so there will be the use of curse words, mature content, and otherwise in the game. we tolerate most anything. we have no censor words, and allow use of alcohol, drugs, violence etc. we are fairly gracious with sexual content, but please don't go overboard. if it's crucial to your plot then post a warning in your thread header.

2. READ READ READ make sure you read the important site information to get familiar with the background information of the game. if you have any questions or need clarification anything the F.A.Q. section and the mods are here for you!

3. MULTIPLE CHARCTERS six accounts per member maximum. that means you can only have six characters however, if you are active enough, we can talk about it.

4. POWER PLAYING we hate people who power play so if you do it, that will be a warning. we really don't care what you do in game play as long as the person you are playing with is alright with it. if you did something power playing and they were not all for it, they can rat on you.

5. CHARACTER AGE the youngest age a primary character can have here is 13, and the oldest is 2000. that means you Spell characters! really, we don't want to see any Spells older than 2000. npc characters can be as young as the player wants.

6. WORD COUNT AND WRITING QUALITY keep posts above 50 words. “‘Im Bob’ he said.” is the sort of thing that really harshes everyone's mellow. spell check is your friend. please use it. all role playing must be in third person unless you are explaining the thoughts of your character, and even then it isn't recommended as some rp-ers may get a little annoyed by it.

7. REALISTIC WRITING One of the most important qualities of our writing here is keeping it realistic. Even though this is a fantasy-based roleplay, all the characters are still human...except for the ones that aren't of course.

8. ACTIVITY please keep active. we will run activity checks periodically to ensure there aren't any dead accounts. if you're going to be absent you must let us know in the OOC asylum. all members who have posted Leave of Absence notices or contact the mods about an extended absence will be excused from those activity checks.

9. KEEP IT ORIGINAL all characters must be original characters. fandom or historical characters are not allowed. now, that being said we will be lenient when it comes to character inspired by a piece of work, particularly in the case of Cursed. for example, having a Cursed that has a Sleeping-Beauty like slumber curse on her. or a Cursed with King Midas' touch. this is perfectly acceptable! as long as you don't call your character Sleeping Beauty or King Midas, there will be love and peace.
